Jeremy Couvillion, his wife Johanna and their three young daughters, reside in Baton Rouge where he works as a principal at Westdale Middle School. A graduate of LSU, Jeremy is the reigning King of Orion 2017 and was recently named East Baton Rouge Parish Principal of the Year.

In January 2017, Jeremy was diagnosed with Stage 4 Follicular Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Additionally, 5% of his bone marrow has been compromised. With treatment, his physicians are optimistic about his prognosis. He is taking part in clinical trials at MD Anderson in Houston, but will have to travel often to their facility and has been placed on stringent dietary restrictions.
